The Mondialogo School Contest

Intercultural education – A vital and enriching learning experience

More than 2.600 teams from all over the world have registered to engage in a meaningful intercultural learning and to promote respect for cultural diversity.
The Mondialogo School Contest is a unique opportunity for high school students to find out more about their own and other cultures and learn to work together intensively with a partner team from another continent.

The Mondialogo School Contest has brought together more than 60,000 students from 140 countries over the past four years and has thus become the largest worldwide school contest in support of intercultural dialogue.
Intercultural Learning
By bridging distance and differences through active exchanges, teams from participating schools have
been able to:

- build effective and sustainable intercultural dialogues

- appreciate and respect cultural diversity develop 
  intercultural skills through cross-curricular activities

- achieve tangible results through long-distance
  teamwork on joint projects

- improve proficiency in using information and
  communication technologies  (ICTs) as well as
  different languages

- contribute to enriching their curricula and enhancing
  quality education

The International Olympic Committee (IOC), responsible for the promotion of the Olympic Movement, officially supports the Mondialogo School Contest. The goal of the Olympic Movement is to contribute to building a peaceful and better world by educating youth through sport practised without discrimination of any kind. Mondialogo and the IOC jointly promote mutual understanding, solidarity and fair play.
